Suitable for anyone installing or repairing an EPDM liner, it helps tape, sleeves and flashings bond properly so seams and repairs hold rather than failing later. Comes in a range of bottle sizes to suit anything from a small repair to a full liner installation.

Overview Elevate QuickPrime Plus TF is a toluene-free liquid primer and cleaner made to prepare EPDM pond liners before you join, patch or fit pipe boots and flashing. Suitable for anyone installing or repairing an EPDM liner, it helps the surface bond properly with tape, sleeves or flashing, which keeps seams and repairs from failing later.

Wiping the liner with QuickPrime Plus TF lifts dirt and debris and primes the EPDM surface, giving splice tape, moulded sleeves and flashing a clean surface to grip. It's formulated to work with EPDM liners from both Elevate and SealEco, so you're not tied to one liner manufacturer.

You get a bottle of QuickPrime Plus TF primer in your chosen size. It's designed to be used alongside Elevate's splice tapes, flashings or moulded pipe sleeves for the join or repair itself, and those are sold separately.

Because it's a solvent-based product, QuickPrime Plus TF should be handled with care while applying it; once it has fully dried it's safe around aquatic life, plants and people. Read the manufacturer's Technical Information Sheet before use for the full safety precautions and application steps.

Key benefits QuickPrime Plus TF cleans and primes EPDM in one step, so you're not applying separate products before bonding. It's made without toluene, and it covers three common jobs, joining liner seams, attaching pipe sleeves and repairing liner damage, so one bottle can handle more than one type of task on the same project.

Choosing your size QuickPrime Plus TF is sold in three bottle sizes, so you can match the amount you buy to the scale of the job rather than over-ordering. If you already own one of Elevate's EPDM repair or joining kits, note that these come with their own small 250ml bottle of QuickPrime Plus included.

Specification

Detail

Brand

Elevate

Use With

All EPDM liners (Elevate and SealEco)

Other Sizes Available

No

Coverage

Varies depending on application; see manufacturer's Technical Information Sheet for exact rates.

Aquatic, Plant & Human Safe

Yes, once fully dried

Solvents

Heptane

Technical Information Sheet

QuickPrime Plus Technical Information Sheet (available from manufacturer)

Uses

Joining liner seams, attaching pipe sleeves, repairing liner damage

Aquatic, plant & human safe

Yes
