evolution-aqua-4mm-sinking-pond-airline-sold-per-metre
Evolution Aqua 4mm Sinking Pond Airline (Sold Per Metre)

This airline sinks to the pond bed on its own, so you get a tidy, low-visibility air line without fitting separate weights. It's cut and priced by the metre from full rolls, making it suited to pond keepers installing or extending an aeration run who want the hose to disappear along the base of the pond rather than float across the surface.

Overview This is a 4mm pond airline built to sink to the pond bed under its own weight, instead of floating like standard airline that needs weights clipped on to hold it down. It suits anyone installing or extending a pond aeration system who wants the hose to stay out of sight along the base rather than sit visibly across the surface. The dark colouring helps it blend into the pond floor once laid, and it helps keep the hose anchored along the bottom without you having to source or fit separate weights. Its compound resists UV breakdown and won't kink or crack during handling, which matters for hose that sits outdoors, gets coiled, walked over, or repositioned while you work.

What you get: the exact length of this 4mm sinking airline that you order, priced and supplied per metre. No weights or additional fixings are included, because the self-sinking design is built to work without them.

Key benefits The main thing that sets this airline apart from standard pond hose is the self-sinking design itself: lay it along the pond bed and it stays down on its own, rather than needing to be weighted or clipped at intervals. That saves fitting work and keeps the finished job looking neater, since there's no visible hardware holding the line in place. Combined with the UV and kink resistance of the compound, it's built to stay put and stay intact once installed.

Choosing your size There's one wall thickness and diameter available, 4mm, so there's no sizing decision to make beyond how many metres you need. Measure the full run from your air source to each diffuser or air stone, add it up, and order that number of metres. See the Choosing your size guidance below for how longer orders are supplied.

Specification

Detail

Size

4mm

Wall thickness

4mm (standard across the range)

Colour

Black

Material

PVC-based compound

Roll length

100m

Price unit

Per linear metre
