evolution-aqua-eazy-connector-stop-end-cap
Evolution Aqua Eazy Connector Stop End Cap

This flexible rubber stop end fitting allows you to seal off the end of pond pipework without any gluing or pipe cutting. The adjustable jubilee clip tightens for a secure seal and loosens again just as easily, so you can remove and reuse the fitting if you change your pipework layout later. It grips PVC, lead, copper and clay pipe alike, which is handy if your system mixes materials. It's available in four sizes to match different pipe diameters.

Overview

An Eazy Connector Stop End Cap is a flexible rubber cap you fit over the open end of pond pipework to close it off, held in place by an adjustable jubilee clip rather than glue. That gives you a seal you can undo and refit later if you rework your system, rather than something you're committed to once it's on. Evolution Aqua make it as part of a wider range of flexible pond fittings, and the rubber "boot" construction is designed to grip onto PVC, lead, copper or clay pipe, useful if you're not sure what your existing pipework is made from.

Key benefits

No gluing required, the jubilee clip tightens by hand for a secure seal

Rubber boot construction grips onto PVC, lead, copper and clay pipe

Can be undone and refitted if you rework your pond pipework later

Part of Evolution Aqua's flexible pond fitting range, so it pairs with their other connectors

Choosing your size

The four sizes cover a range of pipe diameters, so measure the outside diameter of the pipe you're capping before ordering rather than going by what the pipe was originally sold as. The 3 inch listing in the supplier data carries a wider mm range than you'd expect for a true 3 inch pipe, so if you're working from metric measurements it's worth checking against your own pipe rather than relying on the inch label alone.

Specification

Detail

Brand

Evolution Aqua

Product type

Flexible rubber stop end cap

Fitting method

Adjustable jubilee clip, no gluing required

Material

Rubber

Compatible pipe materials

PVC, lead, copper, clay

Available sizes

1.5", 2", 3" (also listed as 89-75mm in supplier data), 4"

Reusable

Yes, can be removed and refitted
