evolution-aqua-evofeed-automatic-pond-fish-feeder
Evolution Aqua EvoFeed Automatic Pond Fish Feeder

This automatic pond feeder dispenses pellets at set times through the day, so fish get fed on schedule whether you're home or not. It runs on its own rechargeable battery, so there's no need for a power socket at the water's edge. Suited to medium and large ponds, including Koi ponds and holiday periods when hand-feeding isn't possible.

The EvoFeed Automatic is a battery-powered pond fish feeder that dispenses pellets at programmed intervals through the day, with throw distance and feeding duration both adjustable to suit your pond. It helps keep fish fed little and often without you needing to be pond side to do it, which suits Koi ponds in particular, where frequent feeding is normal, and it also covers you during holidays when you can't feed by hand. Because it runs on its own rechargeable battery rather than a mains lead, the weatherproof housing can stay mounted at the water's edge permanently.

One overnight charge indoors keeps it dispensing food for months rather than days, with the exact length depending on how often you've set it to feed. You can also leave the mains adapter plugged in if you prefer, the feeder keeps working normally while it's connected.

What you get: the feeder unit itself, the mains adapter used to charge it, and the fixing pegs that secure it at the pond edge.

Key benefits

Feeds fish on a set schedule, so they get frequent, small meals rather than one large feed, even when no one's home.

A reinforced motor with extra ventilation beneath the impeller is built in to help stop pellets clogging the mechanism.

Adjustable throw distance means food reaches across the pond rather than landing in one spot.

Weatherproof housing designed for permanent outdoor mounting at the pond edge.

Choosing your size This feeder comes as one fixed-size unit, so there isn't a smaller or larger version to choose between. What matters more is matching it to your pond and your fish food: it's built for medium and large ponds rather than small ones, and it only accepts pellets within a specific size range, not flakes or sticks, so check that matches what you already feed before ordering.

Specification

Detail

Feeding Range

Throw distance adjustable from 1 to 3 metres, across a 120 degree spread angle

Food Type

3 to 10mm pellets (sticks, flakes and other food shapes are not recommended)

Dimensions

370mm (L) x 310mm (W) x 400mm (H)

Power Source

Built-in rechargeable lithium battery, charged via the included mains adapter

Battery Life

Around 3 months per charge, depending on timer settings
