It helps keep the base of fibreglass, concrete and rubber-lined ponds cleaner with less manual maintenance.

Overview The Kockney Koi 4" Tommy is a mushroom-domed bottom drain designed to pull waste from the floor of koi ponds and large garden ponds, keeping fish safely away from the outlet while it helps reduce sludge build-up on the pond base. It suits koi keepers and pond builders working with fibreglass, concrete or rubber-lined pond construction.

Sited in the deepest part of the pond, the domed cover lets sludge, debris and fish waste draw through to the filtration system while physically blocking fish from the opening. This cuts down how often the pond floor needs manual cleaning and supports steadier water circulation.

The outlet fitted here is built for higher flow rates, making it better suited to larger pond installations than small, low-turnover ponds.

You receive one bottom drain unit, ready to fit into the pond base.

Key benefits This drain is manufactured in the UK, where Kockney Koi has been producing pond equipment for over 35 years. The mushroom dome approach is a long-established choice among professional pond builders and koi keepers for combining safe waste removal with fish protection.

Specification

Detail

Outlet Size

4 inch

Drain Style

Tommy / mushroom dome

Pond Compatibility

Fibreglass, concrete and rubber-lined ponds
