It helps clear visible algae outbreaks within hours without treating the whole pond, and includes a KH rapid test so you can check your water is ready for safe use. Available in two bottle sizes to match the volume of water you're treating.

Oase AquaActiv AlGo Direct is a liquid algaecide that treats thread algae through direct contact with the affected area, rather than dosing an entire pond. It helps clear localised outbreaks in garden ponds, watercourses and swimming ponds without needing to treat the whole body of water.

Overview Thread algae often shows up as isolated patches on rocks, liner edges or along watercourses, and a whole-pond treatment is not always the quickest way to deal with it. AlGo Direct is applied straight onto the affected spot and goes to work on the algae within a few hours of contact.

Key benefits Treating only the affected area means you are not adding more chemical to the water than the problem calls for. Once the active substance has done its job, it breaks down into naturally occurring components, which is what allows this product to be used in swimming ponds as well as ornamental ones. A carbonate hardness of at least 3°dKH is needed for safe use, so a KH rapid test is included in the pack to let you check this before you start.

Choosing your size AlGo Direct comes in two bottle sizes, so you can match the pack to the volume of water you're treating rather than over- or under-dosing. OptiPond and PhosLess are suggested as supplements to use alongside it, though these are separate products and not included in this pack.

Specification

Detail

Volume

500ml or 5L (available in two pack sizes)

Optimal supplements

OptiPond, PhosLess
