oase-aquaactiv-biokick-premium-pond-filter-starter-bacteria-4-x-20ml
Oase AquaActiv BioKick Premium Pond Filter Starter Bacteria (4 x 20ml)

A concentrated liquid starter culture for pond filters, suited to new filter setups or heavily soiled ponds. It helps the filter build an effective bacterial colony and reach full performance within days, and the pack comes as sealed glass ampoules that stay stable for years without refrigeration.

Overview BioKick Premium is a liquid starter culture of concentrated pond filter bacteria, supplied in sealed medical glass ampoules rather than a standard bottle, which is what lets the bacteria hold their numbers for years without refrigeration.

It suits pond keepers setting up a new filter system or managing a heavily contaminated pond, and it helps the filter establish a working bacterial colony quickly instead of relying on bacteria building up naturally over weeks.

You get one pack of four 20ml glass ampoules. The source material also lists OptiPond and Safe&Care as supplements that work well alongside BioKick Premium; these are not included and are sold separately.

Key benefits The bacterial and enzyme strains are autotrophic, so they are suited specifically to breaking down the waste load inside a filter rather than general-purpose use.

Because they are sealed in glass, the bacteria stay viable far longer than they would in an open bottle, so a pack can be kept in reserve without needing a fridge.

Used as intended, the filter reaches optimum performance within a few days, which is useful when a filter is newly started or struggling under heavy contamination.

Specification

Detail

Net weight

0.15 kg

Pack contents

4 x 20ml glass ampoules

Bacteria per ampoule

Approximately 1 trillion

Coverage per ampoule

Up to 10 m3 of pond water

Bacteria concentration

Over 50 billion active microorganisms per ml at time of filling

Maximum pond volume per pack

Up to 40 m3

Recommended complementary products

OptiPond, Safe&Care (sold separately)

https://aquaticshub.co.uk/products/oase-aquaactiv-biokick-premium-pond-filter-starter-bacteria-4-x-20ml
