oase-aquamax-eco-premium-filter-pump
Oase AquaMax Eco Premium Filter Pump

This pump keeps pond water moving through your filter reliably, and its built-in Environmental Function Control helps protect it from damage if it ever runs dry or picks up a blockage, so a lapse in maintenance is less likely to cost you a replacement pump. It suits pond owners with anything from a modest garden pond up to a large or swimming pond, since it comes in six sizes with maximum flow rates between 5,000 and 21,000 litres per hour. Bear in mind it's supplied without a plug, as UK rules stop manufacturers fitting an indoor plug to fixed outdoor equipment, so you'll need to sort the outdoor-rated wiring yourself.

Overview

The Oase AquaMax Eco Premium is a German-engineered pond filter pump built with a patented second connection point, so you can plumb in an optional filter accessory to pull debris from a second, more distant part of the pond as well as through the main line. Environmental Function Control (EFC) helps protect the pump from damage if it ever runs dry or a blockage builds up at the inlet, which takes some of the risk out of the odd missed maintenance check.

It's aimed at pond owners running a filtration system of any real size, from a small garden pond up to a large or swimming pond, since the range spans six flow rates. The controls are straightforward, and when it's installed dry alongside a swimming or natural pool it runs quietly enough not to be a nuisance.

Key benefits

Patented second connection lets you feed debris from a second pond zone into an optional filter accessory, alongside the main inlet

Environmental Function Control helps protect the pump against damage from dry running or a blocked inlet

Runs quietly enough for dry installation beside a swimming or natural pool

Moves plant debris and fish waste through the system without constant pre-filtering

Output can be adjusted electronically once you fit the optional In-Scenio Dimmer or FM-Master 3/FM-ProfiMaster control

Seasonal Flow Control (SFC), which Oase list for models 12000-20000, regulates the water flow rate and delivery head, and Oase state that switching it on can save up to 30% energy

Rated to withstand outdoor temperatures down to -20°C

Choosing your size

All six models share the same design and EFC protection; what changes is the maximum flow rate and the price.
