oase-aquaoxy-air-pump
Oase AquaOxy Air Pump

An adjustable valve lets you set exactly how much oxygen goes into your pond, rather than leaving the pump running at one fixed rate, which helps keep water healthier for fish through summer heat or heavier stocking. The weatherproof housing means it can stay outdoors permanently, and the motor is built to run quietly rather than adding noise near a seating area. It comes in six sizes, from ponds of around 3,000 litres up to 75,000 litres, so you can match the pump to the pond rather than over- or under-sizing it.

Overview

The Oase AquaOxy Air Pump is a pond aerator built around an adjustable valve, so you control how much oxygen reaches the water instead of running at a single fixed output like a basic non-adjustable aerator would. That helps maintain healthy oxygen levels through the pond, which matters most during hot weather or wherever fish numbers are high. The housing is weatherproof with IP44 splash protection, so it can live outdoors permanently rather than needing to be housed indoors or under cover.

The motor is engineered to run with reduced noise, useful if the pond sits near a patio or window, and it's built to draw comparatively little power for the output it gives. An air hose and air stone are included at a length suited to flexible outdoor positioning, along with a weatherproof transformer and a 5m cable. The pump is backed by a 2 year guarantee.

Key benefits

Adjustable valve for setting oxygen output rather than running at one fixed rate

Weatherproof, IP44-rated housing built for permanent outdoor installation

Motor engineered to run quietly

Air hose and air stone included, sized for flexible outdoor placement

Weatherproof transformer and 5m cable supplied

2 year guarantee

Choosing your size

The six models scale with pond volume, so picking the right one starts with knowing roughly how many litres your pond holds:

AquaOxy 250: suited to ponds up to around 3,000 litres, the smallest in the range

AquaOxy 500: suited to ponds up to around 5,000 litres

AquaOxy 1000: suited to ponds up to around 10,000 litres

AquaOxy 2500: suited to ponds up to around 25,000 litres

AquaOxy 5000: suited to ponds up to around 50,000 litres

AquaOxy 7500: suited to ponds up to around 75,000 litres, the largest in the range

These figures are maximums, and a pond carrying a lot of fish uses oxygen faster than an empty one of the same volume, so it's worth sizing up rather than picking the smallest model that just covers your litre count. Because the valve is adjustable, a slightly larger model still lets you run it gently now and open it up later if stocking increases.

Running it outdoors

The weatherproof transformer and IP44-rated housing mean the unit itself doesn't need to be installed indoors. Run the air hose out to the air stone in the pond and use the valve to set output for the season, opening it up in hot weather or after treating the pond and easing it back the rest of the year.

Specification

Detail

AquaOxy 250 - pond size

Up to 3,000 litres

AquaOxy 500 - pond size

Up to 5,000 litres

AquaOxy 1000 - pond size

Up to 10,000 litres

AquaOxy 2500 - pond size

Up to 25,000 litres

AquaOxy 5000 - pond size

Up to 50,000 litres

AquaOxy 7500 - pond size

Up to 75,000 litres

Aqua Oxy 250

Up to 3000 litres

AquaOxy 500

Up to 5000 litres

AquaOxy 1000

Up to 10,000 litres

AquaOxy 2500

Up to 25,000 litres

AquaOxy 5000

Up to 50,000 litres

AquaOxy 7500

Up to 75,000 litres
