It's supplied either as a single plant in a 1 litre basket or as a pack of three potted plants, so you can match the quantity to the area you're planting up.

Veronica beccabunga is a marginal pond plant with smooth, ovate leaves and clusters of small flowers, grown to spread across the shallow margins of a pond or a planting shelf. It suits wildlife ponds and naturalistic planting schemes where low, spreading cover is wanted along the water's edge. As it establishes, it helps knit together bare margin areas and gives the pond edge a settled look. You can buy it as a single plant already potted in a mesh aquatic basket, ready to place straight into the pond without repotting, or as a pack of three plants each supplied in a pot. If you choose the pack of three, you'll need to pot the plants into a mesh basket of your own before planting them out, so it's worth factoring that in separately.

Specification

Detail

Colour

Blue

Height

20-30 cm

Native

Native

Flowers

May to Sep

Sun/Shade

Full sun to part shade

Growth rate

Fast

Planting depth

0-15 cm

What's included

1 litre: one plant in a 1 litre mesh aquatic basket; 9cm pot, pack of 3: three plants each in a 9cm pot.

Care instructions

This plant can be trimmed as required at any time during the growing season but do not cut back in autumn as the growing tips are next years plants.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0922/0610/4949/files/veronica-beccabunga-marginal-pond-plant.jpg?v=1791796898
