Anubias barteri var. 'Coffeifolia' is a compact cultivar of Anubias barteri, distinguished by leaves that arch noticeably between each rib and emerge in a red-brown shade when new. Its slow growth keeps trimming and general upkeep to a minimum, and the colour of new growth works well in both large aquascapes and smaller aquariums. It's generally left alone by herbivorous fish, so it tends to hold its shape in tanks that house grazing species.
