Material and construction
This liner is EPDM rubber, 1.14mm thick, weighing around 1.39kg per square metre. The manufacturer's figures put elongation (elasticity) at approximately 300%, which gives the liner room to move and adjust to the ground it's laid on rather than sitting rigid. It has excellent puncture resistance, which is a genuine consideration for larger installations where stones, roots or uneven excavation are a factor.
Protective matting (optional)
AquaPro recommend laying a good quality underlay beneath the liner to protect it from stones and roots in the ground. AquaSHIELD protective matting is available as an add-on to this listing in 200gsm and 275gsm weights, giving you a way to add that protection at the same time as ordering your liner.
