A solvent-based contact adhesive spray that helps bond EPDM membrane securely to timber, metal, masonry and other approved substrates, suitable for anyone installing or repairing EPDM roofing or pond lining systems.
Overview This is a solvent-based contact adhesive, formulated specifically for bonding EPDM membrane to timber, metal, masonry and other approved substrates, as well as approved insulation boards. It gives installers a dedicated fixing option rather than relying on a general-purpose adhesive not designed for membrane work.
Used correctly, it helps keep EPDM membrane firmly and evenly bonded to the substrate beneath it, reducing the risk of lifting or movement once the surfaces are joined. It's suitable for roofing, pond lining and similar EPDM installation or repair jobs where the membrane needs to be fixed down rather than left loose.
What you get: one 750ml can of spray bonding adhesive. A solvent-resistant roller or compatible spreader equipment is needed to apply it and isn't included.
Key benefits The adhesive is applied to both surfaces before they're joined, which allows each side to reach a similar drying stage and bond evenly on contact. It can be worked by hand with a roller for smaller jobs, or dispensed through spreader equipment where larger areas need covering.
Choosing your size This product is supplied in one size only, so there's no size decision to make beyond how many cans your job needs.
