This water lily brings changeable colour to the pond, with pink and cream-flecked flowers that can turn part or fully yellow, set against dark, speckled leaves. It helps add a long season of interest to open water where lilies get plenty of light. You receive one 3 litre basket-grown plant that can be lowered straight into the pond, no repotting required. It's a strong, reliable grower, recognised as the first hardy variety voted 'Best New Water Lily' in 2010.
Nymphaea Wanvisa is a hardy water lily that gives ponds in open, sunlit water a changing flower colour, from pink with cream flecks through to shades of yellow, a trait that made it the first hardy variety voted 'Best New Water Lily' in 2010.
Its leaves are unusually dark and speckled, adding contrast once it's established in the pond. It grows vigorously, giving a strong flowering display over an extended period.
Plant it in still water, away from splashing fountains or other moving water. Lower it into the pond gradually, over a few days, so the leaves have time to reach the surface, then remove dead leaves and flowers as the plant grows.
It's supplied as a 3 litre basket-grown plant, ready to place straight into your pond. There's no need to repot it or remove the mesh basket, though moving it into a larger basket afterwards can help it establish and spread faster.
