Made by SealEco in Sweden, this 1mm EPDM rubber liner gives pond builders a flexible, puncture-resistant lining material that copes with UV exposure, permanent water contact and temperature extremes without cracking. Black in colour with a slightly embossed finish, it suits garden ponds, larger ponds and lakes, and can also be factory-fabricated into a box-welded liner for formal ponds and water features. Safe for fish, plants and other aquatic life, and available with optional AquaSHIELD protective matting.

Material and construction
This liner is EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, 1mm thick, finished in black with a lightly embossed texture. It weighs around 1.00kg per square metre and has an elongation of roughly 300%, which allows it to stretch and bed down against the shape of an excavation as the pond fills, rather than pulling tight and tearing.
Protective matting (optional)
Even with good puncture resistance, we'd recommend laying a quality underlay beneath any pond liner to protect it from stones and roots in the sub-base.
